ACCOUNTANT/LINE PRODUCER (JOB OFFER)
Preparing, examining, and analyzing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports related to the production of film and television projects to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and accounting procedural standards; Develop, implement and modify specified film and television multi-million dollar budgets; Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenue, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and
expenses and provide advice regarding film and television projects; Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to the proper accounts for specified film and television projects; Work with an external accounting firm on preparing the Company’s annual tax returns.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting and one year’s post-baccalaureate experience as a chief financial officer or accountant for a company producing films are required. Proficiency in analyzing financial aspects of film scripts and preparing budgets for films as shown by one year of experience in these areas is required. Will travel 4-5 trips of 2-3 days in the U.S. per year. Job located at 14613 Landis Lakes Drive, Louisville, KY 40245.
